SUMMARY:2026 Benchrest Matches
DESCRIPTION:Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. \n\n\n\nCompetition begins at 9:00 a.m. \n\n\n\n\nWe are holding both Rimfire and Centerfire Benchrest Matches concurrently. Rimfire and Centerfire matches will be scored separately. Competitors may shoot in both matches\, though it is not necessary to do so.  \n\n\n\nEquipment: Any rifle in any caliber\, no restrictions on optics. You may use both front and rear rests\, but not a sled-type one-piece rest. Bipods\, sandbags\, commercial or improvised rests are permitted. We will have rests and sandbags available to use if you don’t have your own.  \n\n\n\nIn the centerfire division\, any rifle below .50 caliber is eligible. In the rimfire division\, all rimfire calibers — including\, but not limited to\, .22 short\, long or long rifle\, .22 magnum\, .17 HMR\, .17 Mach 2 — may be used.  \n\n\n\nCourse of fire: Unlimited sighter shots\, and twenty shots for record on a round bullseye target\, in a total of 15 minutes. A tie-breaking round will be shot if necessary.  \n\n\n\nIt is recommended that you bring at least forty rounds of ammunition per match.  \n\n\n\nThe Centerfire match will be shot at 100 yards. The Rimfire match will be shot at 50 yards.  Both matches will be held on the rifle range

CMP Rules and Course of Fire apply. \n\n\n\nEquipment: CMP eligible as-issued military rifles\, including the M1 Garand & M1 Carbine\, M1903 or 03A3 Springfield\, Vintage Military Bolt-Action rifles\, Modern Military Rifles\, including AR-15/M4-style\, M1A/M14-style\, and foreign semi-automatic military-style rifles. \n\n\n\nIron sights only\, except Modern Military rifles may have scopes with a maximum power and objective of 4.5×34. All highpower-style equipment may be used — e.g.\, shooting coats\, stools\, mats\, spotting scopes — but is not required. DESCRIPTION:This will be our annual D-DAY Match. We hold this Match to pay tribute to our WWII Veterans. \n\n\n\nThis match will be held on the rifle range\, rain or shine. We will be shooting 50-100 yd. \n\n\n\nThis match will consist of 30 rounds fired for score. Maximum score will be 300 points.  \n\n\n\nWEAPONS TYPE — Weapons must be WWII type original or reproduction in as issued configuration (no sporterised weapons please) and design prior to 1946. weapons can be any nationality. \n\n\n\nEQUIPMENT —  \n\n\n\n\nSlings\, Shooting Coats\, Gloves are allowed.\n\n\n\nBi-Pods not allowed (exceptions made for some of the older shooters)\n\n\n\nSpotting Scopes not allowed. Please feel free to dress in WWII era uniforms.\n\n\n\n\nTARGETS — Targets will be steel knock down plates\, pepper poppers and one SR- 1 paper target. \n\n\n\nAMMO — Bring at least 30 rounds of ammo (no armor piercing ammo please) Bring clips\, stripper clips\, ammo pouch\, belt\, etc. (there will be some available to borrow) \n\n\n\nAWARDS — There will be medals presented to the top 3 marksmen\, also medal for high women shooter (must have at least 2 women shooters to be eligible) along with medal for high junior shooter. \n\n\n\nEmpty chamber indicators\, eye & ear protection is required.

DESCRIPTION:July 12\, 2025 \n\n\n\n\nRegistration begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nCompetition begins at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\n\nThis is a CMP Sanctioned Rimfire Sporter Match. All Civilian Marksmanship Program Rules apply. In addition to SJCRC Club Medals\, CMP Achievement Pins will be awarded based on competitors’ scores as set out in the current CMP Games Rifle and Pistol Competition Rules\, Annex A. \n\n\n\nEquipment:  Rimfire rifle\, in caliber .22 LR.. All rifles must weight 7.5 pounds or less. Triggers must be capable of lifting a 3.0 pound weight when cocked. \n\n\n\nSlings\, mats and spotting scopes are recommended\, but not required. No shooting jackets or padded shooting gloves are permitted. Up to two sweatshirts may be worn\, and an ordinary work or sports glove can be worn on the hand that supports the rifle. \n\n\n\nShooters may compete in any of the three Rimfire Sporter Classes: T-Class (Telescopic Class)\, O-Class (Open Class)\, T-U Class (Tactical-Unlimited Class). \n\n\n\n\nT-Class: Rifles may have scopes with a maximum of 6X magnification. Variable power scopes must be set at 6X or less\, and may not be changed during firing.\n\n\n\nO-Class: Rifles with traditional open sights with a “U” or “V” rear sight notch and a post or bead front sight.\n\n\n\nT-U Class: Rifles may have any sights. If a scope is used it may not exceed 6X magnification. Variable power scopes must be set at 6X or less\, and may not be changed during firing. SUMMARY:2026 Speed Pistol/PCC Match
DESCRIPTION:Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nCompetition begins at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\n\nShooters will engage 22 targets composed of steel plates and poppers at distances varying from 15 to 20 yards. \n\n\n\nShooters may use any centerfire Pistol\, Revolver\, or Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) to compete in the following (3) divisions: \n\n\n\n\nOpen Pistol (with dots or optics\, flared magazine wells\, unlimited; designed for speed)\n\n\n\nLimited Pistol (iron sights\, production/”as-issued” configuration only)\n\n\n\nPCC (any sights)\n\n\n\n\nShooters may compete in any—or all—divisions. \n\n\n\nWe will be running the course 2 times per shooter\, so minimum round count is 44 rounds per division. Bring as many magazines as you think you’ll need. No limitations on magazine capacity. Empty Chamber Indicators (ECIs) are required. \n\n\n\nScoring will be determined by a shooter’s best time to clear all targets. Awards will be given to First\, Second\, and Third Place shooters in each division\, High Junior (9-15)\, and High Woman (with minimum of 2). Top Gun points will be proportioned for each division. \n\n\n\nEYE AND HEARING PROTECTION ARE REQUIRED! \n\n\n\nMatch fee for member or non-member is $10 per division (Juniors $5).

SUMMARY:2026 Rimfire Rifle & Pistol Silhouette Matches
DESCRIPTION:Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nCompetition begins at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\n\nThe rifle and pistol matches will be scored separately. It is not necessary for competitors to shoot in both matches. There will be\, however\, a bonus prize for the overall winner. \n\n\n\nEquipment:  Rimfire pistol and rifle\, in caliber .22 short\, long or long rifle. To prevent damage to the targets\, no .22 magnum\, .17 HMR\, .17 Mach 2\, or “Stinger” type ammunition\, please (high velocity .22LR is okay). No restrictions on overall weight of rifles or pistols. Any trigger not subject to accidental discharge allowed. \n\n\n\nAny sights\, telescopic\, metallic\, or electronic may be used on both rifles and pistols. No lasers\, please. \n\n\n\nNo shooting coats\, or padded gloves\, but shotgun-shooting style vests are permitted. Slings may be attached to the rifle but may not be used to support or stabilize the rifle. Palm rests may not be used. Brining at least 30 rounds of ammunition per match is recommended. \n\n\n\nCourse of Fire:  Each match will be 20 shots at 20 smallbore silhouette targets. All shooting will be done slow-fire from the standing position.  \n\n\n\nTargets for each stage will be 5 Borrego (ram)\, 5 Guajalote (turkey)\, 5 Javelina (pig)\, and 5 Gallina (chicken). Your score will be the number of targets knocked over. In the event of a tie\, there will be a shoot-off. \n\n\n\n\nAll targets in the Pistol Match will be shot from 25 yards.\n\n\n\nAll targets in the Rifle Match will be shot from 50 yards.  \n\n\n\nBoth matches will be held on the rifle range.

DESCRIPTION:Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nCompetition begins at 9:00 a.m.\n\n\n\n\nEquipment: Any centerfire rifle\, any centerfire pistol\, and any shotgun\, capable of knocking down a steel plate or popper\, all any sights (iron sights\, scopes\, electronic sights\, lasers\, etc.\, are all legal). As much ammo and magazines as you can carry\, though you should be set with 60 rifle rounds\, 25 pistol rounds\, 10 shotgun shells (no slugs\, please)\, unless you happen to miss a lot. \n\n\n\nCourse of Fire: Plan to engage numerous steel\, paper\, and/or other targets from 15 to 100 yards from multiple positions\, moving between firing points. \n\n\n\nYour score is the time you take to complete the course. \n\n\n\nThis match will be on the rifle range.

SUMMARY:2026 WWI Action Bolt-Action Rifle Match
DESCRIPTION:Registration at 8:30 am\n\n\n\nShooting begins at 9:00am\n\n\n\n\nThis is a remembrance match honoring our veterans of The Great War and other conflicts. \n\n\n\nThis match will be held on the rifle range\, rain\, snow or shine. \n\n\n\nWEAPON TYPES —  \n\n\n\n\nAny pre-1977 bolt-action military rifle (ie. Korea\, WWII\, WWI\, Spanish-American\, etc; including—but not limited to—CMP “Vintage Military Rifle” eligible) in as-issued configuration\, of any nationality. Reproductions are OK. Optics (as-issued) are also OK.\n\n\n\nOther bolt action rifles of any configuration (your 2025 PRS rifle? Sure!) are also OK in their own “modern” category.\n\n\n\n“Style points” (towards Bragging rights) for rifles we haven’t seen in competition before—Bring out those old bolt guns!\n\n\n\n“What about my great-granddaddy’s Chauchat from the war??” Sure\, you can run it (*in semi-auto)\, but you might be in your own category.\n\n\n\n\nEQUIPMENT —  \n\n\n\n\nBring stripper clips\, magazines\, chargers\, ammo pouch\, belt\, etc. (there will be some available to borrow). Bayonets too\, if you have one. (might be useful…)\n\n\n\nSlings\, Shooting Coats\, Gloves are allowed.\n\n\n\nBi-Pods not allowed (exceptions made for some of the older shooters)\n\n\n\nPlease feel free to dress in period cosplay (WWI\, WWII\, Bolshevik Revolution\, etc)\n\n\n\n\nCOURSE—  \n\n\n\n\nThis course will be minimum of 20 rounds fired for time against a combination of steel\, paper\, and other targets at up to 100 yards from multiple locations. Senior shooters will get a handicap.\n\n\n\nTargets will be steel plates\, pepper poppers and IDPA/USPSA paper targets.\n\n\n\nScoring will be by time modified by penalties for misses.\n\n\n\nThere will be a time limit of 4 min. to run the course.\n\n\n\nTies will be broken by the age of the gun (oldest gun wins).\n\n\n\n\nAMMO —  \n\n\n\nMinimum round count is 20 rounds x 2 runs of the course—We may run the course twice if we have enough time. (no armor piercing ammo) \n\n\n\nAWARDS — Medals will be presented to the best scores of the top 3 marksmen\, high woman shooter (with minimum 2 women shooting)\, and high junior shooter shooting the As-Issued category. Top shooters in “modern”\, vintage semi-auto\, and Mosin-Nagant categories will also be recognized. \n\n\n\n(NO Top Gun points will be awarded\, so bring what makes you smile) \n\n\n\nEmpty chamber indicators (ECIs) and eye & ear protection is required.
