SUMMARY:2026 D-Day Match
DESCRIPTION:This will be our annual D-DAY Match. We hold this Match to pay tribute to our WWII Veterans. \n\n\n\nThis match will be held on the rifle range\, rain or shine. We will be shooting 50-100 yd. \n\n\n\nThis match will consist of 30 rounds fired for score. Maximum score will be 300 points.  \n\n\n\nWEAPONS TYPE — Weapons must be WWII type original or reproduction in as issued configuration (no sporterised weapons please) and design prior to 1946. weapons can be any nationality. \n\n\n\nEQUIPMENT —  \n\n\n\n\nSlings\, Shooting Coats\, Gloves are allowed.\n\n\n\nBi-Pods not allowed (exceptions made for some of the older shooters)\n\n\n\nSpotting Scopes not allowed. Please feel free to dress in WWII era uniforms.\n\n\n\n\nTARGETS — Targets will be steel knock down plates\, pepper poppers and one SR- 1 paper target. \n\n\n\nAMMO — Bring at least 30 rounds of ammo (no armor piercing ammo please) Bring clips\, stripper clips\, ammo pouch\, belt\, etc. (there will be some available to borrow) \n\n\n\nAWARDS — There will be medals presented to the top 3 marksmen\, also medal for high women shooter (must have at least 2 women shooters to be eligible) along with medal for high junior shooter. \n\n\n\nEmpty chamber indicators\, eye & ear protection is required.
